Taken for the Bicentennial in 2000 in a series of 9 iconic images, NYC Icons, shot with an 8x20 vertical bellows camera. Special permission from the MTA to shoot from the 6th floor ledge of Grand Central Terminal facing east.

The camera and sheet film were modified for the project.  All the prints are ‘contact prints’ and hand printed by master printer,  Girard Laumont.
